This work contains reproductions of 210 letters from the Song and Yuan
periods by 120 authors. Song pieces and authors dominate, with 113 authors
working during the Song. This volume makes available the calligraphy of
men other than the famous Song calligraphers, Su Shi, Huang Tingjian and
Mi Fei. It also presents letters in their materiality, as opposed to transcribed
versions in wenji. The letters are transcribed in the back. Short biographies
of the letter writers are appended.
